Rino Aise
Rino Aise, born and raised in Japan, is currently based in New York. She performs in theatrical pieces and music performances, particularly for peace.
Rino initially studied Minyo (folk songs) with Ryushu Kubota, the highest teacher of the Hokkaido Folk Song Federation, and, then, started playing sanshin, a traditional Okinawa instrument, to pursue her music career, singing folk songs, anime songs, and original songs in the U.S. and Japan.
She played the role of Mitsue in a theatrical piece, 'The Face of Jizo' written by Hisashi Inoue, at Japan Society NY for two consecutive years; 2023-2024 with the cooperation of Hisashi Inoue's wife.
While working at Nippon Dental University, she studied law at Hosei University, and then studied beauty at Belle Epoch Beauty College and obtained a cosmetology license. She is also a certified kimono consultant accredited by the Public Interest Incorporated Foundation All Japan Kimono Consultant Association, a high-ranking master instructor, and an etiquette instructor at Sodoreihou Kimono College. After that, while working as a kimono model, she studied theater at United Performers’ Studio.
She is currently studying traditional Japanese culture at Kyoto University of the Arts.
